10 Wedding Cakes for Summer

Happy Tuesday, ya’ll! Wedding cake tasting was one of my (and my hubby’s) all-time favorite things about planning our wedding. Choosing a wedding cake flavor was the fun part (spoiler: it was modeled after our favorite Whole Food Berry Chantilly Cake), but you also have to choose a design for your cake. The design part of the cake wasn’t necessarily a detail I had thought of before. I knew I wanted my wedding cake to be pretty, but not over the top. I wanted it to fairly simple and match the overall design of our wedding. We ultimately decided to allow our florist to go to town with fresh flowers like peonies roses in whites and various hues of pinks. The end result was gorgeous. If you are stumped on how to style your wedding cake, here are some options:

Bonus: You can add a personalized cake topper to really push the design over the edge. We’ve seen couples use hand-crafted figurines made just for their special day. We’ve also seen some personalized cake toppers that put the finishing touch on their wedding cake.
