Bridal Beauty Finds

Bridal beauty regimens are some of the most popular topics of discussion in today’s world. You want to look your best on your big day. Luckily, the process doesn’t have to be too complicated. We want to make your bridal beauty routine as simple as possible. Today we wanted to highlight some of our favorite bridal beauty maintenance finds.

It starts with a good cleanser to keep your face clear and acne-free. We like this one because it exfoliates without over-drying:

Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse Off Formula for Unisex, 3.4 Ounce

A great moisturizer is the foundation to keeping your skin hydrated and healthy-looking for your wedding. We like these:

Moisture surge lotion

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief for Unisex, 2.5 Ounce

We are also obsessed with this serum, which was given to me by my aesthetician right before my wedding:

SkinCeuticals Retexturing Activator (1 oz / 30 ml) + SMI Tote Bag

Maintenance with regular exfoliation is another tip many experts recommend. We like to use this product once a week- it has coffee and rose hip and leaves our skin feeling so smooth:

Creamy Face Scrub

And we can’t stop using these under-eye gel masks:

Grace & Stella DePuffing + Energizing Golden Powder Gel Collagen Under Eye Masks (12 Pairs) Puffy Cooling Gold Soothe Patches Pads Sheets Korean Hydrating Crystal Aqua Shiseido Anti Aging Wrinkle

And finally, this tip is a bit off the beaten path, but if you want healthy skin, nails and hair (ladies, I’m talking longer hair, eyelashes and eyebrows included), start adding some collagen to your diet. This deserves its own post in and of itself, but it was recommended to me a short time prior to when we got married, and I can confirm that all of the above is true. I use the Vital Proteins brand (not an ad) because it is one of the few that is actually checked and certified by a third party. Why? Well, your collagen production declines as you age even though it is the most abundant protein in the body. It provides the infrastructure for your musculoskeletal system. It’s needed for strong bones, joints and skin. I use this brand because it is tasteless (and I’m picky), so I do a scoop in my coffee each morning and it packs some good protein. I use the pasture-raised, grass-fed bovine collagen peptides. The container looks like this:

Vital Proteins Pasture-Raised, Grass-Fed Collagen Peptides (20 oz)
