Happy Friday. We have something exciting up our sleeves for today’s Friday Favorite edition.
We don’t know about you guys, but we love it when brides add some extra flair to their invitations. We love colorful envelopes, hand-lettering and of course, what comes inside. We also love it when we see brides get creative with stamps. Earlier this week, USPS revealed their 2018 Love stamp, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Here it is in all its glory:
Here is what USPS had to say:
Love Flourishes (Love series)
Love Flourishes is the latest stamp in the Love series. The stamp art features a fanciful garden of colorful flowers surrounding the word “Love.”
We think it has a very Rifle Paper Co. feel to it. We love the gold and mint accents – and of course, the floral design. They nailed it. If you are a 2018 bride, you will need to grab these when they become available. There is no set release date, but they typically release these in the first quarter of the year, so be on the lookout.
Since we are on the topic of spicing up your wedding invitations, we pulled together a couple of other items you might find useful.
If you fell in love with a previous “love” stamp design, you can still find some on Amazon. We like these love skywriting stamps.
Do yourself a favor right now and get a custom return address stamp. You can customize them so they match your preferences. They are a great item to have on hand for stamping those thank-you cards, save the dates, even wedding invitations and future holiday cards. Get one now and thank us later. We like this circular pattern, and this one is simple, but pretty.
Maybe you prefer to customize your stamps. We’ve seen brides personalize stamps with photos and even their wedding date. We love the idea of making it your own. Minted has personalized wedding stamps that match invitations, color schemes and more. You can request a free sample here.
Happy Weekend,
