Off the Shoulder Lace Wedding Dresses

Happy Monday! We hope you had a fabulous weekend. We don’t know about you, but we have the caffeine on repeat today. But the sun is shining (in Houston at least), and it’s the start of a new week. It’s a new year, with new trends. One of the wedding trends we expect to see a lot of in 2018 is off-the-shoulder wedding dresses. One of our favorite trends of the season is off-the-shoulder lace wedding dresses.

We are here today to talk about some ways to style this type of dress, along with some fun options to choose from. Keep reading and enjoy!

Long Sleeves or short sleeves? We have seen some beautiful versions of the off-the-shoulder wedding dress style with long sleeves – and with short sleeves. To be honest with you, we love the them both. I honestly think the time of year your wedding occurs, will dictate the answer to this question for you. One thing is for sure, we love this style with all the lace.

Silhouette? The off-the-shoulder wedding dress can be found in most of the silhouettes including ball gowns, mermaid gowns, A-line, trumpet and even two-piece. We encourage you to try on various styles to see which silhouette you feel most comfortable in. Our number one tip here is: don’t go dress shopping with pre-conceived notions about which style you prefer. Try them all on and go from there.

Let’s check some gowns out.

This David Tutera gown is absolutely stunning. It is also at a great price right now. The gown has 3/4 length illusion Venise lace sleeves and illusion lace over a sweetheart bodice. The illusion lace back is accented with fabric covered buttons. Ballgown skirt has asymmetrically layered skirt and chapel length train.

In a different silhouette, the Savannah gown is equally as pretty. It’s available at BHLDN. It features a sweetheart necklines, with covered buttons that run the full length of the chapel train. And guys, it’s less than $1500.

This A-line gown is another great option. It has an illusion bodice, off-the-shoulder neckline, and sheer three-quarter sleeves.

This gown is an illusion long sleeve gown with re-embroidered lace appliques and tulle over satin. Gives the look of off-the-shoulder with illusion neckline and illusion back with crystal buttons down back of gown. Hemline is finished scalloped lace.

This gown deviates a bit from your typical bridal style, but we love it. It has a bohemian vibe to it, and it will be the perfect gown for someone. It has head-to-toe graphic lace and a relaxed off-the-shoulder silhouette. It’s perfect for an outdoor ceremony.
