Planning a fall 2018 wedding? Today we are talking all things fall flowers. So if you have a fall wedding coming up, you won’t want to miss some of these arrangements. Bonus: we even have some ideas for your groom and his boutonniere. P.s. last week we talked about some of the hottest wedding colors trends for summer 2018, and you can read that post here.
Seasonal Fall Flowers
When you are planning a seasonal wedding, keep in mind that certain flowers might not be available year-round. Flowers available in the fall include: Asiatic Lily, Asters, Calla Lilies, Chrysanthemums, Dahlias, Gerbera daisies, Gladioli, Marigolds, Roses, Sunflowers, Zinnias. Fall fillers are actually quite colorful and can add that extra special pop to your bouquets and centerpieces. Some fillers available year-round are queen anne’s lace, solidago, wax flower, limonium and hypericum – just to name a few.
Jewel tones are the highlight of fall arrangements. Reds, oranges and yellows also round out some of our favorite fall wedding flowers. Many brides go the rustic route for fall, but you can also have an elegant fall wedding by incorporating some of the jeweled tones – and even some gorgeous succulents.
