We have had some pretty incredible bridal trends throughout 2017. We’ve seen unique, hand-lettered invitations. Calligraphy has made a comeback in a big way, and we aren’t upset about that. Bridesmaids have walked down the aisle in metallic dresses and dresses with beaded embellishments. We’ve seen greenery incorporated into decor schemes more than ever before. While we hope many of these trends stick around for the long-haul, we are excited to see what bridal trends are hot in 2018.

Marble

We think it’s safe to say that we are going to be seeing quite a bit of marble incorporated into wedding themes. From the wedding invitations, menu cards to centerpieces and more. Marble will be a beautiful addition this year.

Dessert Bars

Even though wedding cake will never go out-of-style, we think we will start to see smaller cakes paired with the couple’s favorite dessert. We think donut and cupcake bars will be big this year.

Metallic Hues

Copper, bronze and gold are big right now. If I’m being honest, I want these colors for my home decor as well. We think lots of couples will want to incorporate these brassy tones into decor, stationery and even floral accents.

Vintage and Geometric Shapes

You know what we are talking about – those fantastic honeycomb patterns and imperfect edges. We believe we will start to see brides move away from traditional centerpieces and instead, incorporate some funky geometric patterns and vases into the theme.

Sleeves and Off-the-Shoulder Gowns

Even wedding dresses are moving in a new direction. In 2018, we expect to see more gowns with sleeves of sizes – and even off-the-shoulder dresses.
